Central & Eastern Europe – OExD®
Our client, an AIM listed E&P company, had a large acreage position onshore Eastern Europe, but limited in-house technical resources to realise the value of the acreage.
We provided an Outsourced Exploration Department™, and managed the client’s operated and non-operated assets from licence signing though the full exploration cycle.
This included:
- Day-to-day management of assets, liaison with partners / governments, project planning and budgeting
- Full range of exploration work across the company’s assets, including: play fairway analysis, petrophysics, core analysis, geochemistry, fieldwork; seismic planning, design, acquisition; 2D/3D seismic interpretation, prospect generation, volumetrics and risking
- Built and maintained the company’s technical databases (including seismic, GIS projects)
- Developed and managed the company’s corporate inventory, utilising a standardised risking scheme to risk and rank prospect and leads across the company’s exploration portfolio
Working closely with the client senior management, we successfully developed new concepts, and a corporate prospect portfolio, which resulted in a discovery within a new play fairway.
