About the Role:

The Electrical Inspector will inspect electrical installations and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, specifically focusing on ATEX (Atmosphères Explosibles) directives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards and the ability to identify potential hazards in explosive atmospheres.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations and equipment in hazardous areas.
  • make sure compliance with ATEX regulations and other relevant standards.
  • Identify and report non-conformities, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and safety teams to develop risk assessments and safety protocols.
  • maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and recommendations.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on electrical safety and ATEX compliance.
  • Stay updated on changes to electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in safety audits and inspections as required.

Qualifications:

  • ATEX Certification is required.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical inspection, particularly in hazardous environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, including IEC and national regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.

Project Starting in 2025, this project covers both Germany and Switzerland.
