We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Representative—Geophysical to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between our clients and internal teams, ensuring the successful execution of geophysical projects while maintaining high quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role requires deep knowledge of geophysical methods, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing client relationships and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison: Serve as clients’ primary point of contact on all geophysical-related matters, ensuring clear and timely communication between the client and internal teams.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage geophysical surveys and activities to ensure alignment with client objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams regarding geophysical methods, equipment, and data interpretation.
  • Client Expectations Management: Ensure client expectations are met by understanding their needs, responding to inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns related to geophysical services.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports on project progress, technical findings, and recommendations to clients clearly and professionally.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all geophysical activities adhere to industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any technical, logistical, or client-related challenges that arise during the course of a project.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organised records of client communications, project milestones, contracts, and reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in geophysical techniques and technologies to ensure services remain competitive and innovative.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of [10] years of experience in geophysical services or a related industry, focusing on client-facing roles.
    • Proven track record of managing geophysical projects and client relationships.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of geophysical techniques (e.g., seismic, magnetic, electrical resistivity, etc.).
    • Familiarity with geophysical survey equipment and software (e.g., GIS, geophysical data interpretation tools).
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to present complex geophysical data and technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage client expectations and resolve technical challenges.
  • Client Focus: Strong customer service orientation focusing on client satisfaction and project delivery.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards in geophysical surveying.
  • Previous experience working with multinational or large-scale clients.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Multilingual capabilities (especially in regions with non-English-speaking clients).
