EPI has been certified Carbon Neutral for 2024

EPI Group are proud to announce we have been certified as Carbon Neutral for 2024 by CO2Balance and the Self Help Africa initiatives. We offset 824 carbon credits with sustainable investment, to balance the emissions that we could not already reduce further, as part of our ongoing business endeavours.

In 2023, EPI committed to their desire to become Net Zero by implementing the following actions:

Allowing the team to work flexibly and from home 3 days a week.
Using timers on electrical items in the office, to reduce our energy consumption.
Switching to a renewable energy supplier.
No single use plastic to be used in the office.
Addressing our supply chain

The EPI team made 5 commitments to sustainability which we believe are unique within our industry and set the standard for others to follow.

In 2024, EPI set a target which was approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) which states: “EPI Group Holdings Limited commits to reduce scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year, and to measure and reduce its scope 3 emissions.”

The team have been committed internally to changing their behaviours to offset their carbon emissions, alongside the initiative investments and are proud to have achieved this status.
