EPI welcomes Ross Compton and Kim Godfrey to the team

Ross Compton and Kim Godfrey, our new Renewable Energy Manage and UXO Manager respectively.

We are very pleased to introduce to you to two new members of the team: Ross Compton our Renewable Energy Manger, and Kim Godfrey our UXO Manager.

Ross’ background is in ecology and marine science, with a PhD relating to marine mammal mitigation guidance. He joined the energy sector in 2005, working first with WGP, then RPS where he managed the provision of MMOs & PAM services for geophysical exploration, construction and UXO removal projects. Ross then went onto Horizon Geosciences as Project Manager for geophysical & geotechnical projects for oil & gas and renewable energy clients. Since 2017, Ross has supported the International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) as their EAME Consultant.

Kim has worked in the oil and gas and offshore survey industries since 2007 providing expertise in HSE, particularity in contingency planning, crisis and incident management. Prior to that he spent over 23 years as a Royal Navy Mine Clearance Diving Officer planning, directing and participating in mine and bomb disposal operations worldwide. Kim has extensive first-hand & practical Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technical, safety, environmental and commercial knowledge.

Ross and Kim bring their extensive skills to EPI as we expand into the renewables market. Please join us in welcoming them.
