EPI Group announces management reorganisation as part of company growth strategy

EPI Group is pleased to announce management changes within EPI Geoscience as part of its programme of growth. EPI Geoscience is the oil and gas exploration and field development consultancy arm of EPI that delivers bespoke and quality technical work through its Outsourced Exploration and Production Department™ (OExD®) and Advisory solutions.

Gehrig Schultz moves to COO of EPI Geoscience and takes responsibility for delivery of divisional growth and day to day commercial strategy. Dr Mark Enfield moves to CEO of EPI Geoscience and this change allows Mark to focus on delivery of Geoscience Excellence and Clients’ technical needs.

Gehrig brings to the team an exemplary record as a business leader within the oil and gas exploration and production services industry and brings with him deep technical knowledge together with great experience in development and commercialisation of new technologies. Gehrig is a proven executive manager and geophysicist with over 30 years in the industry. Over the past 20 years Gehrig has been responsible for growing several international seismic contracting businesses to turnovers in excess of $100MM per annum, most recently as CEO of Prospectiuni where he was responsible for increasing turn over from $30MM to $100MM.

Mark will continue to lead the Geoscience team’s long-established track record of delivering highest technical quality and value addition through working with Clients to assist in completion of successful projects. Mark has a more than 30 year track record of delivery of successful exploration and development projects, adding value through highest quality technical work which has led to leading to significant new discoveries, addition of new reserves through field re-development and expansion of Clients’ asset portfolios through new ventures and M&A. Mark developed the Outsourced Exploration (and Production) Department™ (OExD®) solution for smaller companies within the oil and gas sector that acts as a ready-made E&P department to enable management teams with new assets or E&P target assets to move forwards with their projects by outsourcing the E&P department’s duties to EPI Geoscience.
