We took on a very wet and muddy team challenge in September – a 7km obstacle race!
Fueled up with cereal bars and bananas, an intrepid team from our London office ran, walked, crawled, slipped and slid their way over some 100 military style obstacles through mountains of mud and cold water. Laughing most of the way round, we helped each other to overcome a fear of heights, dark and confined spaces, falling, and snakes to finish the course as a team.
We did it!
The obstacles included cargo nets, high ropes, monkey bars, high walls, muddy tunnels, slides, logs, floating inflatables – you name it – if they could fill it with slippery mud and freezing cold water – it was there! Without the support of each other, we wouldn’t have been able to get over most of these, so a massive thank you and well done to the wonderful team spirit that was shown by all throughout the day.
Well done to Edward, Andy S, Ben, Greg, Priscilla, Claire and Becky for taking part, and a big thank you to Ben for organising it.
